The Merry Widow

Veuve Clicquot champagne is too delicious to leave leftovers, isn’t it? I use up the bottle and the box as well.

Table lamp created of a Veuve Clicquot Magnum bottle, emptied by Susanne Ratschiller and some friends, celebrating a great success. The dress in iconic Prince of Wales fabric is refined with smooth velvet and laced with a suede ribbon. The widow’s hat is created with papier mâché technique, coated with the outermost layer of the Veuve Clicquot cardboard box and refined with semi-precious stones.

This one-of-a-kind artwork has been completely handcrafted by Susanne Ratschiller.
